At our core, we are a family with a rich legacy in the world of jewelry. Our story began in 1950 with our beloved patriarch, Don Chuy Torres Plata. Guided by his sister's husband, a skilled jeweler, Don Chuy developed a deep passion for the craft. Over time, this passion was passed down to his children, with five of them becoming talented jewelers themselves. 

One of Don Chuy's sons, Carlos Torres, is our father and the driving force behind our business today. Growing up in a poverty-stricken family of ten in Mexico, he yearned for a brighter future. In 1985, with determination and resilience, Carlos embarked on a journey to the United States. Arriving in Brownsville, TX, with nothing but the clothes on his back, he faced homelessness for a month.

Fate intervened when Carlos encountered a group of jewelers while playing soccer. They welcomed him into their ranks and provided him with an opportunity to work at a local jewelry store called Jewelry Corner. For eight years, Carlos honed his skills and established himself as a talented young jeweler. However, he decided to leave the job when he realized he craved more appreciation and a better life for his family.

In 1992, when Carlo's son was only two years old, he took a leap of faith and opened his first jewelry shop in his own garage. Together with his late wife, Blanca Torres, they poured their hearts into expanding the business. Through their hard work and dedication, they gained recognition throughout South Texas. They were even blessed with the chance to create jewelry for prominent clients, including Selena during her rise to stardom.

Today, Carlos is passing down his wealth of knowledge to us, his children. Inspired by our heritage and driven by a vision to modernize the business, we are committed to infusing our cultural influences into our craft. Our goal is to honor our family's legacy while embracing the future, offering unique and exquisite jewelry that reflects both tradition and innovation.
